Recently, Lynda Carter, who is most famous for playing Wonder Woman, visited the White House and posed for a celebratory Christmas Photo. Carter, 73, visited President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The photo was taken in front of a portrait of George Washington in the Diplomatic Reception Room alongside Joe and Jill Biden, Doug Emhoff, and Kamala Harris.
The actress shared the pictures on her Instagram. She captioned the post, “Sharing the photo Merry Christmas! What an honor to once again be in the White House. With love, admiration, and friendship, Lynda.” Commenters rapidly noticed that Biden was standing uncomfortably close to Carter and noticeably distant from First Lady Jill Biden.
The Daily Mail reported on how social media users responded. One user wondered, “Why is Jill a mile apart from her husband?” Another person on Instagram questioned, “Why does @flotus look like she’s photobombing?” “Stunning! You gotta love Joe,” one person wrote with a laughing emoji. One more commentor wrote: ‘Same Joe, same,’ followed by a laughing face emoji.
Lynda Carter has long bee a outspoken Democrat. She has specifically active on the issue of abortion. “If we want #ReproductiveFreedomNow, we need to turn out and vote in November! Our fundamental rights are on the line, and only President Biden and Vice President Harris will fight to protect them. I know Don and I know Joe, and I’m voting for JOE,” the actress wrote on X earlier this year.

The Biden Family has had a rough Holiday season. As The American Tribune reported, at the “Toys for Tots” event at the White House, Dr. Jill Biden, told the gathered children “Happy Holidays,” using the politically correct phrase instead of the religious, traditional phrase “Merry Christmas.” The gathered children, however, didn’t go along with it and replied by telling her “Merry Christmas.”
In any case, the “Happy Holidays” moment occurred when Dr. Jill was greeting the gathered children and awkwardly waving, trying to be pleasant. As she did so, she told the gathered crowd, “Happy Holidays.” After an uncomfortable pause, a young child in the audience responded by telling her, “Happy Christmas!” Dr. Jill, awkwardly, laughed and said “Happy Christmas,” to which other kids in the crowd responded by yelling back “Merry Christmas.”
Dr. Jill Biden, speaking during the Toys for Tots event hosted at the White House, commented on those who led the program this year, saying, “Joe and I are so grateful to you and Lieutenant General Laster for your decades of service and leadership. Both of you have built inspiring careers guiding troops and giving back to our communities alongside your amazing Toys for Tots team.”
She also took time to praise the band. Dr. Jill said, “The festive music we’ve heard today is performed by the President’s Own Marine Band. Joe and I are grateful to them and their families for their service, and for filling the White House with talent and grace. Each year, we decorate this house for the holidays—and I’m so glad that all of you can be part of the magic.”
