Justin Bieber has made a statement on his faith yet again. He expressed his abiding belief that Jesus is with him because he feels the Lord’s “goodness.” Bieber, 30, is best known for pop hits ike Baby, and Yummy. He has been vocal about his faith for years and has often shared his spiritual beliefs on social media. Justin posted a heartfelt question on his Instagram.
On Christmas he posted: “How can I really believe Jesus is with me?” He answered his own question. “Well for me, Justin, it’s simply His goodness that keeps convincing me. Every time I thought He wouldn’t show up for me, He always has. I’m convinced He’s the perfect, patient presence that guides, directs, and leads me all the days of my life — providing, healing, and restoring all that the enemy tried to destroy and steal.”
He ended the with a sticker declaring: “I do believe.” This post has surfaced in the middle of a challenging year for Bieber. He has struggled to process the horrific allegations allegations against his former mentor, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. The rapper is facing a raft of charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. Justin was close with Diddy in his early career.
Bieber has been forced to distance himself from the rapper. According to reporters Justin felt “completely disgusted” by the allegations and has been prioritizing his mental well-being. A source close to Justin said “His happiness being a dad has outweighed his anxiety about Diddy.” Following the birth of his son, Bieber, is said to be “thrilled” and finding happiness in his role as a dad.
Other Christian figures have been tied to Combs as well. T.D. Jakes has been at the center of a series of unverified allegations of sexual abuse, many of which are connected to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. According to the fact-checking website Snopes, many of the damning videos were produced with AI tools and are falsified. However, Jakes has a number of posts linking him to Combs and he has never commented on the embattled wrapper’s high-profile arrest.
Bishop T.D Jakes, who had a ‘health incident’ in his Dallas Mega Church on September 27th, has filed a defamation lawsuit against another prominent preacher. Duane Youngblood made allegations of unwanted sexual advances on a YouTube talk show. Jake’s lawsuit alleges that Youngblood is currently on parole after felony convictions for corruption of minors and sexual assault.
Duane Youngblood states that Jakes assaulted him as a teenager. He says that he met Bishop Jakes as a teenager. “When I started to walk past him, he pulled me to himself, wrapped his arms around me, and tried to kiss me,” describes Youngblood. He also claims that the Bishop offered him a three-point plan outlining a sexual relationship.
The Bishop has been named in a lawsuit filed in March, which accuses Sean Combs of harassment, drug activity, and sex trafficking. In this lawsuit, the plaintiff states he has irrefutable evidence” of Diddy “detailing how he planned to leverage his relationship with Bishop T.D. Jakes, to soften the impact on his public image.” The Bishop has let to address this matter.
