In a clip posted to social media, a female pastor dressed as a Pixar character gave a dramatic sermon about President Donald Trump. She says the president has her lying awake at night, wracked with anxiety. In her bizarre sermon, she says that the election was a battle between good and evil. These types of dramatic political displays have become all too common in recent months.
“In the past, I thought my fears were hyperbolic, and now it seems like everything is on the table. Today, I’m dressed as joy, but we joked in my family that I’d be better off dressing as anxiety because that’s what I’ve got,” she began. ” Almost rather be reading about these texts of monsters or terrified by the demons that are more fundamentalist friends are concerned about as reality is the political landscape today.”
“Reality is that these monsters are scary. Ans not going to pretend that I’m not scared. I’m not going to say I don’t have a pit in my stomach and fear in my heart,” she dramatically continued. ” I have to be honest; there’s a part of me that does feel like there is an apocalyptic battle for Good and Evil going on here, and I don’t want my gut reaction still to laugh at certainty until I realize this is reality.”
“I shudder with fear at what’s gonna happen. I wonder as I stay up late, not in joy but in anxiety, if there will be another insurrection at the capital. [Will] my friends and family be safe…in reality, we’re just beginning to see the lasting repercussions continue on today,” she theatrically said. ” What will happen to the vulnerable mass? What about the military and already militarized police force?”
“What will they have a license to do and say…What will the rest of the world do? Questions keep me up late at night I thought my fears were hyperbolic, and now it seems like everything is on the table, scary. Okay, to admit that we’re not supposed to be afraid, right?” she dramatically continued. ” Cuz we’ve got God on our side. We’re Christians. God’s got this. Bad theology alert!”
Rev. Dr. Frederick Douglass Haynes III is a prominent charismatic pastor and activist guilty of the same political preaching. Haynes melted down over Donald Trump’s election. “White supremacy won. Patriarchy won. Sexism won. Greed won,” he theatrically began. ” All of that won this past Tuesday, and we live in a nation calling itself the United States of America, espousing values of liberty and justice, and yet we have elected someone that is going to propel us into a project, 2025 world. A project. 2025 world that is going to dismantle public education.”
“A project, 2025 world that, while dismantling public education, is going to feed private schools for rich people and their children and so the haves get more, and the have nots get less, and they going to try to make us pass the same standardized test,” Haynes theatrically said. “I’m simply saying, my sisters and brothers, we’re moving into a Project 2025 world, a world where the Civil Rights Bill of 64 is going to be destroyed.”

“A world where they are going to have King Donald reigning because of the Supreme Court saying he can reign without restraints. He can reign without any guardrails whatsoever, and his cult following is now so emboldened that they had the nerve to scare our young people,” he finally wrapped up.” This week, sending messages that targeted our young people, telling them to report to slave plantations.”
