In a highly controversial sermon, progressive pastor Dr. Steve Caudle, who called for retribution against Elon Musk, the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) several months ago, doubled down on his far-left values to attack President Trump’s mass deportation agenda.
For context, Kilmar Abrego-Garcia was deported by the Department of Homeland Security for his ties to the violent Salvadoran gang MS-13 and his status as an illegal immigrant. Garcia has become a rallying point for the far left since his deportation, despite his proven ties to the gang and long criminal record.
In his latest unhinged rant, which was posted to X on April 28, 2025, Dr. Caudle raced to defend MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego-Garcia. He said, “You can’t do that. You get (sic) snatch folk off street because of their tattoo, their hoodie, their skin color or their native tongue.”
Building to a crescendo, the woke pastor said, “You can’t make up lies about them, put them on a plane to El Salvador, throw them into a prison that they will never be released from, and call yourself a patriot or Christian. It’s illegal, it’s inhumane, and it’s flat out evil. And there’s something about this nation that seems to buy into being evil and cruel and brutal as they possibly can to all of the poor, the weak, and the other.”
As we reported, the woke pastor previously threatened Elon Musk in a viral sermon. He said, “In this nation, I’m worried that we are on the verge of bloodshed. This is an attempt to take us back to a day when we do not want to go and we will not go. Therefore, there will be conflict. I pray that the peace of God will win out and overcome the madness that is attempting to take over this nation.”
Ranting to his congregation, the Rev. addressed possible objections. Caudle added, “And I will say to you, beloved, no one likes violence, but sometimes violence is necessary when Elon Musk forces his way into the United States Treasury and threatens to steal your personal information and your Social Security check, there is possibility of violence. Sometimes the devil will act so ugly that you have no other choice but to get violent and fight.”
Still not done, he complained, “Well, someone might say, Now, Reverend, you know you shouldn’t be talking about violence. This is a Christian thing to do. Well, I will say, why not talk this way? Because…Jesus said …didn’t he? The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. The Kingdom of God is a war zone. It is a battlefield. You did know this, right?”
Watch Caudle double down on his violent rhetoric:
After facing harsh backlash, Caudle spoke with local media to clear up the so-called misunderstanding. He claimed, ”I was talking about the passage out of the Gospel of Matthew, the 11th chapter, the words of Jesus, not my words. “When he said, since the time of John the Baptist, the King of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”
