3. The Plugged-In Show
If you’re looking for Christian insight into the latest movies, music, and TV shows, The Plugged-In Show is perfect for you and your family. Created by the Christian ministry Focus on the Family, the show is designed to be a helpful tool for families who want to make informed decisions about media in an age when entertainment seems to be drifting farther and farther away from God’s truth.

Al Mohler is an insightful Biblical thinker with a wealth of timeless wisdom, and his podcast, The Briefing, is where he looks at current events through the lens of the Christian worldview. The show is broadcast throughout the work week, and it’s a great means of staying up to date on U.S. and world news while staying focused on your faith.

What Podcasts Should Christians Avoid?
If you do a quick Google search for “The Best Christian Podcasts,” you’ll get plenty of results that might not be the best options for growing your faith. There are a few specific shows that we don’t recommend putting in your ears while commuting or doing your chores:
Good Christian Fun
Hosted by two progressive Christian comedians who frequently swear, make irreverent jokes, and poke fun at Christian media from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. For Christians who grew up in those areas, the show can feel like a hilarious blast from the past, but the hosts’ questionable theology and the PG-13 content make the podcast hard to recommend.
The Liturgists
The Liturgists is hosted by ex-Christian musician Michael Gungor and a group of several other progressive and “spiritual but not religious” individuals. Their roundtable discussions touch on interesting spiritual topics, but the hosts have little reverence for the Bible and have all drifted away from orthodox Christianity to pursue their own “truth.”
