Joe Rogan confirmed that he has been regularly attending church after it was revealed in May 2025 that the star podcast host is curious about Christianity, according to Wes Huff, a Canadian Christian apologist and associate of Rogan’s who presented the Gospel on an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” in January.

For context, Joe Rogan, host of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” one of the most-streamed podcasts in the world, has recently expressed interest in Christianity and discussed faith with several high-profile guests. In addition, during a June 5, 2025, broadcast, Rogan confirmed that he has recently been attending a Texas church, describing his experience as “actually very nice.”

The recent episode of Rogan’s podcast featured comedians Shane Gillis, Ari Shaffir, and Mark Normand. During the broadcast, Normand asked Rogan if he had really been attending church regularly, a question that was prompted by Rogan explaining that he had not been drinking alcohol for three months. Normand asked, “Wait, are you going to church too, or is that bulls—?”

In response to Normand’s question, Rogan said, “I have been to church.” Normand replied, “Oh, f—.” Rogan then asked, “Have you ever been to church before?” Normand said, “I’ve been.” Rogan then opined, “It’s actually very nice. They’re all just trying to be better people. It’s a good vibe.” Gillis then asked Rogan, “Why don’t you go to a Catholic church?”

Next, Rogan explained that he had “tried that,” but later added that the church he was attending was “just a Christian church.” Shaffir said, “A non-denominational Christian [church].” Gillis Shot back, “Yeah, all that f—ing gibberish.” Normand asked if the church espoused “Joel Osteen s—,” referring to the “prosperity gospel,” to which Rogan replied, “Yeah, I’m just giving all my money to Osteen.”

In addition, Wes Huff, who had previously appeared on Rogan’s podcast in January and discussed Christianity, reportedly said, “Joe Rogan and I have had on-and-off communication since then. I can tell you for a fact that he is attending a church, and that has been a consistent thing. And so, things are happening.”

Moreover, in a conversation with Cody Tucker during a May 7, 2025, broadcast, Rogan expressed skepticism about the traditional secular worldview, particularly the big bang theory, saying, “I want you to believe in one miracle, the big bang. Yeah, yeah, that’s a good one. It’s a great line.” He added, “It’s because it really is true, and it’s funny, because people would be incredulous about the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but yet they’re convinced that the entire universe was smaller than the head of a pen.”

Continuing, Rogan made the viral comment that the big bang theory had “no reason that anybody’s adequately explained to me,” adding, “Yeah, no, instantaneously became everything, yeah, okay, I can’t buy that. I’m sticking with Jesus, yeah, Jesus makes more sense.”
