MS-13 Gang Member Sues Trump and Demands To Be Transferred to Women’s Prison

Oscar Contreras Aguilar, a man who now goes by the name Fendi G. Skyy, is an MS-13 gang member currently serving a 21-year federal prison sentence for the murders of two teenagers back in 2016. In a brazen move, Aguilar has filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump and the Bureau of Prisons, claiming that they have “refused to recognize” his gender identity as a woman and demanding to be transferred to an all-female prison.

For background, on July 21, 2025, Aguilar, who identifies as a woman, filed a lawsuit against President Trump and the Bureau of Prisons alleging that he had been forced to experience “harsher, more degrading treatment” in prison after being recognized by the state of Florida as a man. Notably, Aguilar has been serving time in prison since 2017 for the murders of two minors in Fairfax County, Virginia, in 2016.

According to press accounts, Contreras Aguilar filed his lawsuit against the president and the Bureau of Prisons after an earlier legal complaint against US Attorney General Merrick Garland was dismissed in early 2024. Moreover, the MS-13 member only began identifying as a “female” and calling himself “Fendi G. Skyy” after his first lawsuit was dropped.

Furthermore, Contreras Aguilar reportedly attempted to use his collaboration with law enforcement as an informant to negotiate being transferred to a women’s prison. His lawsuit reads, “While in the community, [Contreras Aguilar] was working with the Suffolk County Police Department and the Long Island Gang Task Force of the FBI in New York as an informant.”

In addition, the gang member’s legal complaint makes the claim that Contreras Aguilar is “currently suffering from severe exacerbation of her mental illnesses, especially her gender dysphoria, as she has no access to shaving supplies, make up (sic), female hair clips, social support, etc.” Moreover, Contreras Aguilar’s attorney wrote that his “gender dysphoria became apparent around age 14.”

Going even further, the inmate’s attorney attempted to strengthen the gang member’s case by claiming that Contreras Aguilar “reported growing up in an environment where she was surrounded by ‘female energy’ in her community, mostly through family members her age and being raised by maternal figures.” The lawsuit adds, “While this does not directly add to her gender dysphoria diagnosis, she reflected having strong feminine experiences around her as a child, including ‘dressing up as a girl.’ She noted this felt ‘comforting.’”

Notably, MS-13, the gang with which Contreras Aguilar is affiliated, is highlighted by the Department of Justice as “notorious for its use of violence to achieve its objectives.” The DOJ characterizes MS-13 as “known to participate in numerous transnational crimes,” adding, “For example, they are involved in the illegal trafficking of stolen vehicles from the United States to Central America.”

Moreover, the DOJ reported that Contreras Aguilar was charged along with 10 other “members and associates” of MS-13 after the gang “conspired together and with others” to brutally take the lives of a 17-year-old male “who they suspected was a member of a rival gang,” along with “a 14 year-old male…because he was thought to be collaborating with law enforcement.”
