JUST IN: Supreme Court To Hear Arguments On Ending Birthright Citizenship Under Trump Executive Order

In one of the biggest news drops to end out the year, the Supreme Court announced that it will hear arguments on Donald Trump’s decision to end the practice of what is called birthright citizenship. The Supreme Court is expected to hear arguments in February of 2026.

For context, President Trump issued Executive Order 14160 on the day of his inauguration last January. He plainly spelled out that his administration would deny citizenship to those persons who are born from a mother who was present in the United States unlawfully if the father was not a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident at the time of said person’s birth. Birthright citizenship is also denied, under the order to those whose mother’s presence in the US at the time of birth was lawful but temporary, the order explained.

Fast forward to December 5th, and a hyperventilating CNN reporter stammered through a rundown of what had led up to this moment and what the case would focus on. The Trump administration has long held the belief that the 14th amendment applied specifically to the newly-emancipated slaves and their children following the end of the American Civil War – or War of Northern Aggression depending on one’s outlook.

“[The] Supreme Court, just this minute, announced it’s going to take up the challenge to President Trump’s order lifting birthright citizenship,” the frantic journalist began in a segment now gone viral. “You might remember, on January 20, his first day in office, he took his Sharpie pen and he said, This is a big one, and what he did was he tried to eliminate the automatic birthright citizenship that all Americans have had for more than a century.”

She continued, reading the text of one of the three ‘Civil War Era’ amendments – the 13th, 14th, and 15th. “And what that does, it goes to the 14th Amendment of the Constitution that says all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States.”

Concluding her remarks, she contrasted that with the Trump administration’s position before the nation’s highest court. “That means that anyone who is born here automatically became becomes a US citizen. And what Donald Trump’s executive order tried to do was say anyone who was born of someone who was not here lawfully, or who was here on some sort of temporary status, that person’s baby would not automatically be a citizen.”

President Trump has long advocated for terminating the corrupt practice of granting anyone citizenship just by simple geography of birth, posting previously on Truth Social, “Birthright citizenship was not meant for people taking vacations to become permanent Citizens of the United States of America, and bringing their families with them, all the time laughing at the ‘SUCKERS’ that we are!”

He highlighted the absurdity of the modern interpretation, continuing, “The United States of America is the only Country in the World that does this, for what reason, nobody knows — But the drug cartels love it! We are, for the sake of being politically correct, a STUPID Country but, in actuality, this is the exact opposite of being politically correct, and it is yet another point that leads to the dysfunction of America.”

“Birthright Citizenship is about the babies of slaves. As conclusive proof, the Civil War ended in 1865, the Bill went to Congress less than a year later, in 1866, and was passed shortly after that. It had nothing to do with Illegal Immigration for people wanting to SCAM our Country, from all parts of the World, which they have done for many years. It had to do with Civil War results, and the babies of slaves who our politicians felt, correctly, needed protection. Please explain this to the Supreme Court of the United States. Again, remember, the Civil War ended in 1865, and the Bill goes to Congress in 1866 — We didn’t have people pouring into our Country from all over South America, and the rest of the World. It wasn’t even a subject. What we had were the BABIES OF SLAVES. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Good luck with this very important case. GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.!”
