A faith leader from the community of the Church of God in Christ sent a stern warning to far-left agitators, naming failed CNN host Don Lemon specifically, that any attempt to sabotage his congregation would be met with a ‘royal rumble.’ The comments came just days after multiple Minnesota churches had services halted by anti-ICE activists who stormed into worship services.
Reverend Patrick L. Wooden, Sr. did not mince words in his message to congregants the following Sunday following those heinous invasions, reports of which suggest kids were even held hostage and not allowed to return to their parents while in Sunday school. Don Lemon proudly chronicled the events, both in lecturing the pastor of the church he trespassed during a supposed interview and later narrating a video with gushing approval as he likened terrorizing Christians to Civil Rights-era protests.
Speaking before his own flock, Rev. Wooden remarked on January 18th’s horrific events. “Y’all see what them people invaded that church the other day?” he asked at the beginning of his statement, before delivering a blunt warning lest the far-left crowd be inspired to do it again.
“Now I just want to say to protesters and all of them, don’t, don’t do that here. Amen, Don Lemon, don’t come. Here you go. You roll up in this church doing stuff like that, and it’s going to be the royal rumble,” he continued.
Doubling down, he made sure everyone understood he wasn’t making light of what happened. “And the funny thing is, I’m not joking. We have worked hard. We built the church in the name of the Lord. We dedicated it to the Lord. It’s built for worship.”
“Our blood, sweat, tears and finances are in this place, and some people who have never darkened the door of a church and never contributed one dime to it, gonna roll up in here and disturb our service and scare our children and shout down shout obscenities in the church that will not stand, in this church that will not stand, that’s not going to stand.”
So I thought I’d bring that up, just in case there’s somebody out there who is thinking, that’s not going to stand. Watch the fired-up pastor shut down any protest attempts at his church below:
Wooden was far from the only religious leader who condemned the disgusting tactics of the leftist agitators. Another leading Christian voice, Travis Johnson, condemned what transpired, describing the horrors faced by children and their families as protestors stormed into and invaded sacred worshiping spaces to demand violent and criminal illegal aliens remain in the United States.
Writing on X, he posted: “Anti-Ice extremists storm the worship service at Cities Church in Minneapolis this morning alleging one of the church’s lead pastors is an ICE agent. There are two visions for America. One is a vision for freedom, security, commons sense, prosperity.
“The other is for chaos, deconstruction of the nuclear family, indecency, disrespect, lawlessness, anti-Christ, desecration, and destruction. Tim Walz and Jacob Frey have fomented and encouraged this lawlessness. The failure of the Democrat party to denounce it is agreement.”
