Brandon Gill Delivers One Of The Most Effective Takedown Of Abortion Advocate In Congressional History

Representative Brandon Gill delivered one of those most clarifying moments in congressional hearing history as he exposed an abortion advocate as hiding behind euphemisms and refusing to confront the ‘barbaric’ and ‘evil’ practice they pretend to defend. Gill repeatedly pressed the woke activist on her ‘favorite’ abortion method, given her support of the practice, yet was repeatedly denied and stonewalled.

For additional context, the viral exchange took place during a House Judiciary subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government hearing on Tuesday, which was focused on the Biden administration’s weaponized application of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act to punish pro-life protestors.

Kicking off the hearing, Gill established the witness as an anti-life activist. “You’re an advocate for abortion, for abortion policy. What’s your favorite type of abortion?” he inquired of Jessica Waters, a self-described senior scholar at the American University School of Public Affairs. Presumably, she should have a go-to in mind, but as Gill so masterfully established throughout the dialogue, she began instantly evading the topic so as not to confront the horrors she purports to stand behind.

“I am an advocate for patients having access to the full realm of reproductive health
Care,” Waters replied, as Gill then once again asked about her “preferred method of abortion” that she likes, to which the already-flustered witness said she did not have one.

Saying he would run through different methods of ending the unborn human life, Gill began his expert questioning. “I want to get your take on how much you like these The first type is called a suction abortion. This is when the cervix is dilated and a strong suction, 29 times the power of a household vacuum cleaner, tears the baby’s body apart and sucks it through the hose into a container. Do you prefer that method?”

Amazingly, the witness ignored the entirety of Gill’s presentation, saying only that she stoof by her former testimony. “That sounds kind of gross, doesn’t? It sounds pretty gruesome. Do you agree it does?” Gill pressed, again running up against a wall.

Undeterred, the calm Gill then presented a different option. “Okay. What about this one? This one is called dilation and curettage. After delation of the cervix, a sharp, looped knife is inserted into the uterus, the baby’s body is cut into pieces and extracted, often by suction. Do you prefer that method?” he asked.

“What I believe we are here to talk about today is the face act. We are not here to ask you, you’re a pro abortion advocate,” Waters evasively answered, before Gill chimed back in. “I’m asking if you prefer the delicious deletion and curettage method…You don’t want to talk about abortion itself. Why is that?”

After more stonewaling, Gill then called out the cowardly witness for not answering. “Is it because it’s uncomfortable to talk about…should be uncomfortable.”

After some nonsensical reply about how she wanted to discuss ensuring access to abortion care for women, ignoring the fact that such access demands an eventual decision on one of the methods, among others, presented by her interlocutor, Gill continued.

“How about this one? It’s called dilation and evacuation. Forceps are inserted into the uterus, grabbing and twisting the baby’s body to dismember him or her. If the head is too large, it must be crushed in order to remove it. Do you prefer that method?

“It’s uncomfortable to hear this, isn’t it? I think it is because it’s barbaric and evil. How about this one? It’s called the saline injection. It’s when a 20% salt solution is injected through the mother’s abdomen into the baby’s amniotic fluid. The baby’s skin is burned off. The baby ingests the solution and dies of salt poisoning, dehydration and hemorrhaging of the brain. Do you prefer that method?”

“I would prefer to talk about the subject of the hearing,” she said. “This is the subject of the hearing,” Gill responded. “This is about protests outside of abortion clinics,” Waters countered. “I’m asking you about abortion,” Gill fired back. “I stand by my prior testimony,” the activist hid once more. “I wouldn’t want to talk about this either if I were you, because it is barbaric and evil,” Gill finished.
