Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) set off a firestorm of woke left hysteria after she bluntly posted to Elon Musk’s social media company X on the afternoon of Friday, August 7th that every Muslim elected official was a Trojan Horse and represented a grave threat to national security and the American republic.
“Every single Muslim holding public office in America is a trojan horse, and a threat to both national security and our republic. We refuse to be silent,” she declared in a short post that, at time of writing, had amassed nearly eight million views on the platform.
For additional context, Rep. Mace has long voiced concerns over the rise of foreign-born influence in American politics. She drew the ire of Ilhan Omar particularly after introducing a motion to subpoena her immigration record after years of swirling rumors about a sham marriage to her brother. In May of 2026, this also introduced a bill to ban foreign-born, naturalized Americans from serving as federal judges, members of Congress, or positions requiring Senate appointments.
As it relates to her viral post, Democrat lawmaker Pramila Jayapal, who was born in India, lost her mind at the sight of the fiery opinion and lashed back out. “This is absolutely disgusting and dangerous. Republicans must denounce this blatant Islamophobia. To Muslim communities across America: I will always stand with you,” she quote-tweeted.
Not done, Mace came over the top once more with her own response. “She’s right. I don’t want to get stabbed or blown up by a suicide bomber – nor do I want to hear the call to prayer five times a day in the United States of America. Total Islamaphobe here,” she said.
In the Senate, Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) has likewise spoken out against the rise of Islam in America and the political downstream effects of such demographic change. In a rousing speech against the importation of millions of immigrants who might like to implement Sharia law, he warned against those obvious perils.
“Wake up, America, we got to wake up. The enemy is inside the gates. It is very, very important that we start to understand every day of how important this is important to us, our kids and our grandkids and the future of this great nation,” he said of the growing threat.
“There’s a silent revolution that’s going on in our country. We have to remember that radical Islam is not a religion. It is a political organization run by terrorists. No easy way to put it, Islamic. Extreme extremism is infiltrating the US and refusing to assimilate,” he later said.
“But what’s even darker than that, many of them are openly admitting that they are here with the intent to destroy our country and to kill Americans. They couldn’t put it any more clear, this And isn’t this is not a secret. The Quran instructs them to kill all infidels. It specifically encourages them to behead all infidels,” he added.
