Willie Robertson of the beloved “Duck Dynasty” series shared inspiring details about his family’s reality show’s reboot, saying that the Robertsons’ bold Christian faith is still at the center of the show and that the family is continuing the tradition of ending every episode with a prayer around the dinner table.

For background, in a July 25, 2025, interview with Crosswalk, “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson explained that faith is a key aspect of the show’s new iteration, “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.” Speaking about the show, which aired in June, Willie said that “everything flows” out of the Robertson family’s faith in God, and that the Robertsons make it their primary goal to share that faith with others through the TV series.

Speaking to Crosswalk’s Michael Foust, Willie said, “The DNA of our family is centered around faith,” adding, “Everything flows out of that.” He went on to say that while “The Revival” prominently features the family practicing their faith, the goal is simply to get viewers interested in Jesus, with opportunities to explore faith more elsewhere.

Going into detail about the way the Robertson family showcases their faith on TV, Willie said, “You can see just how that is flowing out of you through your family, through your love, through your kindness, through your forgiveness — and also, just by having a different perspective in life, having joy and having fun and being together and sitting around the dinner table.”

Continuing, Willie acknowledged that the show ends with the Robertson family praying over a meal, a signature scene that was the subject of backlash when “Duck Dynasty” first aired. Willie said, “Having a prayer — these are small ways that can reflect that.” He added, “And then if you want to know more [about the family’s faith], we have podcasts and books and other things where we can kind of go deeper into that.”

Moreover, Willie’s wife, Korie Robertson, said that the family prayer became a staple of the show because the Robertsons “really just had planned to have a family dinner in the pilot episode, and we were going to do a family dinner, and we prayed before the family dinner, because it is what we do.”

Days before the aforementioned interview, the Robertson family made an unexpected but joyful announcement when Jessica Robertson posted on Instagram saying that her 18-year-old daughter, Priscilla, is pregnant with her first child. Jessica, the wife of Jep Robertson, wrote on July 21, 2025, “Me & Jep are excited to welcome another new grandbaby in October. Priscilla will give birth to our granddaughter & we are blessed to add another grandbaby.” She continued, “This isn’t the plans we had laid out for Priscilla but God takes our meager offerings and turns them into His greatest blessings!”

In response to the news, several members of the Robertson clan showed their support in the comments section. Korie wrote, “Beautiful! Love you and so excited for another sweet baby girl in the fam,” with Sadie Robertson Huff adding, “Beautiful mama.” Rebecca Robertson Loflin, Priscilla’s cousin, wrote, “Beautiful! Love y’all and she is gonna be an amazing mama!”
