In a recent sermon, Dr. Steve Caudle called for violence against Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency. The woke pastor said Musk’s and the DOGE’s actions would necessitate a violent reaction. The pastor argued that Jesus himself was violent, so He would support these actions. The clip, which Charlie Kirk reposted, garnered a massive response on social media.
“And in this nation, I’m worried that we are on the verge of bloodshed. This is an attempt to take us back to a day when we do not want to go and we will not go. Therefore, there will be conflict. I pray that the peace of God will win out and overcome the madness that is attempting to take over this nation,” the Tennesee-based pastor said in his crazed rant.
“And I will say to you, beloved, no one likes violence, but sometimes violence is necessary when Elon Musk forces his way into the United States Treasury and threatens to steal your personal information and your Social Security check, there is possibility of violence,” he added. “Sometimes the devil will act so ugly that you have no other choice but to get violent and fight.”
“Well, someone might say, Now, Reverend, you know you shouldn’t be talking about violence. This is a Christian thing to do. Well, I will say, why not talk this way? Because Jesus did,” he concluded.” Jesus said …didn’t he? The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. The Kingdom of God is a war zone. It is a battlefield. You did know this, right?”
Online commentators reacted negatively to his ranting. Elon Musk, the target of this sermon, simply said, ” Wow!” Charlie Kirk replied, ” Yeah, unreal and disgraceful.” Other users were more wordy with their condemnation. “A pastor promoting violence in the name of God is a perversion of Christian faith,” replied one account.
“Here’s what’s really happening: •Elon Musk isn’t stealing Social Security. That’s a fear tactic. •Government waste is out of control. The U.S. national debt is over $34 trillion, and cutting waste helps everyone. So why are certain people so angry about financial transparency?” the same account said in another comment. One user said, “He should immediately lose his tax exemption status.”
“Conservative pastors like @RealJackHibbs get oppressed by the government for simply speaking out for biblical principles. This Tennessee preacher, Dr. Steve Caudle, is actively calling for violence against DOGE. The long arm of the law needs to investigate this guy,” noticed another account.”“Preachers” like this guy will sit at home fat and happy while they brainwash vulnerable people into doing bad things they can’t take back,” one commentator said.
