Former Obama Chief Of Staff Rahm Emmanuel Eyes 2028 Presidential Run With Focus On Jewish Identity

The former Chief of Staff for President Barack Obama and one-term mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emmanuel, sounded hostile against Americans who would not vote for him based on his religion. Emmanuel, a Jew, said the country was ready for a Jewish president while spouting off typical Obama-esque platitudes that sound nice but mean nothing.

For context, the Democrat heavyweight has been rumored to be weighing a run for the party’s nomination in 2028, made his religion a focal point of an interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker on ‘Meet the Press.’ He lamented Americans having lost faith in the country, though didn’t bother to wonder if his party’s march toward race communism had anything to do with it.

Indeed, the interview was as softball as it gets if Welker and Emmanuel wanted to explore the real ailments of Americans in America. Citizens compete with foreigners and DEI hires for jobs once reserved for them. They watch crime and welfare fraud spiral out of control, with no real accountability or punishment at scale. They watch politicians like Emmanuel live large and pretend to have solutions, only to see things gets worse under their rule.

But there was Emmanuel, pretending to have faith in America, whatever that meant. And then, hiding from his party’s socialist agenda, argued a no-vote for him would be based on his Jewish religion. “Yes, and let me say one thing, Kristen. My faith is not your problem. The fact that Americans have lost faith in America-that’s our problem, and we should work on that because I’ve seen a generation of people with an emptiness who’ve lost faith in America, because they think America lost faith with them. That’s our problem. It’s not my faith. Now, to be frank, if my faith is a problem for you, don’t vote for me. I’m not changing my faith,” he said.

Emmanuel has a long history of insider politics and resume-bolstering. Beginning in the 1990s, he worked closely with the Clinton administration, before eventually running for and winning a seat in Illinois’ 5th congressional district. He was later tapped by Barack Obama to serve as his Chief of Staff before departing to be the mayor of the Windy City. After completing his second term, Joe Biden nominated him to be the U.S. Ambassador to Japan.

As many comments suggested under the Fox News article where his interview was covered, the issue with Emmanuel was not his Jewish identity but rather his political worldview. The only people making Judaism an issue are Emmanuel himself and the fake news media. “I’d be ok with a Jewish president. I would not be ok with a Rahm Emanuel presidency though,” one commenter wrote under the article.

“Hey Rahm…. America might be ready for a Jewish President… but what America wants, and needs MOST, is a President that is competent, honest, strong, represents ALL of us, can actually lead not only us, but the world… and is not beholding to the clown circus that wants to drive America off the cliff with liberal/progressive/socialist destructive dogma,” seconded another user.

“People voted for Trump because he was an America Patriot wanting to help Americans. Task accomplished for the most part. A long way to go so what we need is more American Patriots that care about Americans no matter what their ethnicity,” replied a third.
