A woman whose past included earning over an estimated $14 million in a five-year span on one of the world’s most salacious websites confessed to the late Charlie Kirk during one of his campus stops that she had eschewed that lifestyle and committed her life to Jesus Christ. Nala Ray, a provocative model who is believed to have made up to $300,000 per month at her peak for being in states of undress, received wild applause from those attending live and from Kirk himself.

The exchange begins with Ray identifying herself to the now-deceased Kirk in a recirculating video, sharing her resume as one of the top-earning models on a well-known site. She quickly changes gears, however, and says she gave up on that hedonist lifestyle and gave her life to Jesus, a comment which received massive support.

“Hi, Charlie. I’m Nala Ray. It’s so nice to be here today. So I was one of [an adult-centered website’s] top models for the last five years, and and I got saved, and I radically gave my life to the Lord, and gave that life up praise the Lord,” Ray stated as cheers erupted and Kirk nodded his head with proud affirmation.

Ray then segued into a question she had for Kirk, asking about a popular topic on the political right about the banning of certain content deemed inappropriate. “So I want to know, would you support a ban on [adult-themed content] in America, and what would you do to make that happen?” she inquired of the late Turning Point founder.

Kirk said he would love to ban it, but expressed concerns about over-extending government powers. At the same time, he compared it to a form of digital narcotic and an addiction, both of which have seen intrusion to create moral boundaries and declare out of bounds certain things that can harm individuals and those around them.

“I don’t think, unfortunately, I don’t think it’s legal, but absolutely. I mean, first of all, [obscene content] is no different than a digital opiate and an addiction. I mean, we’ve seen states that have made it harder to access and…rates have gone down, but you were once and only fans, per you know, model, what would you have to say to the danger and the damage that does to young people?”

Honestly, so much it depends on sex as well. It it has different effects on men than it does women. Like for men, it shuts them down. They don’t know how to be in good relationships. They don’t know how to treat women. For women, it’s all emotional, and they just continue to get like compared to the women in porn, you know? So honestly, I’d say some self control would go a really long way, which is also one of the fruits of the Spirit,” Ray continued.

Kirk then chimed in, sharing a powerful message for men – he had a massive following of young men – in a very fatherly manner. “I have a message to men, and then I want you to give a message to women men, if you are consuming [online smut], it is no different than you going out with a prostitute every night. The only difference is that you guys get to hide behind some screen. You are contributing to the dehumanization and delegitimization of millions of young women that are nothing more. You are supplying the demand of the new online sex trade, and you need to stop doing it and repent in front of God for contributing to this awful cancer of selling your body for cash online.”

Ray then  got back on the mic and shared a similar message for women. “Honestly, you’re so much more worth it than that. I don’t know who hurt you in your life, if you have daddy issues, mommy issues, but you were made for so much more in the eyes of God, you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that is it.”
