Posting on Instagram, actor Mario Lopez wrote about what he hopes to get out of life, leaving a powerful message about what people desire as they get older and about how those wishes revolve around what really matters, which is to say faith and family, along with the state of being that lets one enjoy those two all-important things in the spiritual and temporal realms.

Lopez, as background, is an actor who is both the host of Access Hollywood and currently working with Great American Family, the Christianity-based content producer, streaming service, and TV channel that aims to compete with Hallmark by sharing its Christian films. His current project with them is called “My Grown-Up Christmas Wish,” in which he stars alongside his wife, Broadway star Courtney Lopez. The movie will be part of the channel’s 2024 Christmas programming.

In any case, Lopez left a powerful message about faith and family in a post on Instagram, saying, “Once you hit a certain age, all you really want is God, family, stability, and peace.” Captioning the image saying as much, Lopez posted, “Amen.”

Commenting, people left messages of agreement and support, saying things like, “Amen 🙌all we need is God and he gives us a family 💞🙏🏼” and “From your lips to GOD’s ears!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥” and “‘m 25, and I’m seeking the eternal peace from ✝️🙏😊, blessed Sunday.” Many others left messages like “Amen” and “So True!”

This isn’t the first time Lopez has posted about his faith on Instagram. In another post, posted for Easter of 2024, he said, “Baby we believe in God around here I don’t care what’s trending these days.” Captioning that post, Lopez wrote, “God’s love is everlasting, not a trend…#PalmSunday #Faith”

Speaking about Christianity in 2018, Lopez said, “[Faith] is alive in me. It’s not really as prevalent  [in Hollywood] as I think it should be.” Continuing, he explained, “If you don’t think necessarily the way the left does entirely — they don’t embrace diverse thought, so it’s unfortunate.”

Speaking about Lopez joining the Great American Family Team, Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Great American Media, said, “We could not imagine better creative partners to join our Great American team than Mario and Courtney Lopez.” He continued, “Mario and Courtney and the team around them are creative collaborators and absolutely devoted to telling stories that bring families together. The partnership is a Christmas wish come true for our company.”

Lopez spoke about his coming aboard the channel as well, saying, “Throughout my career, I’ve aimed to create a body of work that appeals to diverse audiences and, above all, brings joy to people. Joining Great American Media is immensely fulfilling. I look forward to creating uplifting, inclusive, and diverse content, viewed through a positive lens for all ages.”
