CBS’s insufferable Margaret Brennan, who beclowned herself in the 2024 Vice Presidential debate between the ultimate election winner JD Vance and Somali migrant fraud-hiding Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, faced swift and immediate backlash online after she pretended it was controversial for War Secretary to beseech God and His only son Jesus Christ to look over troops in wartime.
Brennan was reacting to a moment in one of Hegseth’s many press conferences providing updates on Operation Epic Fury, a conflict that has seen the terrorist regime of Iran severely weakened and its leadership destroyed.
Addressing specifically the American people after taking questions from reporters and speaking on the ongoing attacks, Hegseth asked for prayers for the brave men and women on the front lines. “And I say the same to every American who wants peace through strength. May almighty God continue to bless our troops in this fight,” he began.
Closing the prayer, his next comments are what really agitated the woke media hack because he asked not only for prayer but prayer on bended knee. “And again, to the American people, please pray for them every day on bended knee with your family, in your schools, in your churches in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.” Watch Hegseth’s prayer below:
Brennan’s virtue-signaling outrage over the woke left’s incessantly wrong and tiresome complaints about ‘separation of Church and State’ immediately went into overdrive. “The Secretary of Defense tells the American public to pray for our troops on bended knee and invoke Jesus’ name….” the correspondent whined on X through her personal account.
Of course, internet anons immediately called her out on multiple fronts. They wondered how she would react if religions were swapped out, humorously remarking that she would likely say nothing if it had been Iran’s war secretary imploring Allah to watch over their troops. Another noted that her outrage began at a little prayer but stopped at the wickedness of the entire Democrat Party’s policies.
“‘The Iranian Secretary of Defense tells the Iranian public to pray for our troops on bended knee and invoke Allah’s name….” Somehow I can’t imagine @margbrennan would make a big deal of this,” a user commented.
“Well, it’s better than the Democrat message, which is resist everything that our government and President Trump is trying to do to help America and its people. I’ll take praying over evil, corruption and resistance of the democrats message for the last 10 years,” said another.
A third commenter added their own prayer just to stick it to Brennan. “Let Us Pray together for our United States Military Troops Overseas! Lord of hosts and our mighty Defender, We lift up our brave troops serving overseas. Surround them with Your angels, shield them from harm, and fill their hearts with courage, wisdom, and peace.”
“Give them strength for every battle, comfort in every trial, and the assurance that You are always with them. Watch over their families at home with Your tender care, and bring them safely home in Your perfect time. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray. Amen!”
