The CEO of the privately-owned In-N-Out Burger stood up for her Christian faith and proudly defended the addition of Bible verses to packaging on food and beverages of her family’s legacy brand. Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson, the granddaughter of California-based In-N-Out, shared how the practice started and what it means for her to stand tall with Christ.

For context, the woke mob has recently been up in arms over the addition of biblical verses to packaging contents ranging from fry boats to cups to burger wrappers. As one such example, a transgender-identifying person went viral on social media for all the wrong reasons after melting down on camera. His outburst revealed the victim-mindset is almost insurmountable, as pointed out by the American Tribune.

Describing the video in question, The American Tribune wrote: “A far-left transgender man — a biological male who claims to identify as a woman — named Noa Estrella, a popular social media influencer, recently posted a video ranting and raving about how mad he is that In-N-Out Burger wrappers and drink cup feature Bible verses and references, a tradition the restaurant has had since the late 1980s.” In other words, the individual purchased food with tradition predating his own birth.

As it pertains to Snyder-Ellingson, she recently appeared for an interview at Pepperdine University, also a private California institution with shared Christian values. The school’s YouTube channel describes Ellingson’s path from the bottom of the staffing food chain to helming the ship of a crew nearly 50,000 in numbers.

“From the day Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson was born in Southern California, In-N-Out Burger has been a significant part of her life. Her grandparents, Harry and Esther Snyder, founded In-N-Out Burger in 1948, and to this day, the business remains privately owned and operated. In-N-Out Burger has always been a family business, and Snyder-Ellingson intends to keep it that way,” the video description stated.

Continuing, the channel noted her storied history experiencing all aspects of working at the fast food giant. “Snyder-Ellingson began working as an associate at In-N-Out Burger in 1999 and is now the owner and president. She currently leads the company while being involved in all aspects of the business, including daily in operations, marketing, merchandising, event planning, associate engagement, company expansion, culture, training, designing stores, and more.”

In the interview, Ellingson was asked directly about her faith and the clear direction the company wanted to take it. “One of the things from the beginning In-N-Out’s been clear about is it’s faith and don’t just take, you know, words are cheap, but you if we put it on our merchandise and so you have, you know, if if you haven’t been to In-N-Out, if you haven’t noticed that your In-N-Out wrappings have verses on there, then you’re just too obsessed with the burgers,” she explained.

The conversation then steered towards the origins of putting faith in front of customers. The interlocutor asked “how did that start where there’s different scriptures that are on different aspects of the um the cups, the the fry boats, the the the burger wrappers?”

In response, Ellingson offered a surprising answer. “My uncle really gave his life to the Lord right before a few years before he passed away. So that was something that he did, you know, as a statement of his faith and and just saying, ‘Hey, we’re a family business and this is something we can do and I want to do it. And it was really beautiful. And I think, you know, it was later down the road that I was like, ‘Wait, we have other packages that don’t have verses on them.,’” she explained.

The CEO went on to describe how the particular verses made it on the products. “I feel like I beat myself up for a long time because I know God’s grace is sufficient. I know that, you know, you can fall and get back up and and all of that, but I I just looked like, yeah, but I’ve been a Christian like most my life, and I’ve messed up more than once, more than twice, and like walked away. And um and so I think it was easier for me to excuse other people that weren’t Christians and did things and then came to know the Lord. For me, I’m like, I already knew, right? You know, so it was really hard for me,” she said of Proverbs 24:16. 24:16.
