In a raw and vulnerable interview, a woman who underwent a full sex change operation expressed extreme regret for the decision, describing the procedure — and the LGBT agenda at large — as a “lie and a scam” and saying that she wishes that someone had been present to warn her before she underwent what she described as an extremely “traumatic” experience.
For context, in an interview with CBN’s Billy Hallowell on May 2, 2025, Prisha Moseley opened up about her experience making a full transition from female to male and subsequently starting the detransition process, telling Hallowell that she feels it is her responsibility to warn others that transitioning will not give them the fulfillment and peace that they expect.
In the interview, Moseley told Hallowell that she “discovered the trans community online” when she was about 15, adding, “Eventually it just evolved into, with the help of trans activists, the idea that we were born in entirely the wrong body and needed medicine for it.” Moseley went on to say that by the time she was 18, she “had both of my breasts removed.”
Continuing, Moseley said that when she decided to undergo surgery, “there was a lot of chaos” in her life, adding, “I was dealing with trauma at the time, and there was turmoil in my home.” She also said that doctors “preyed upon” her parents, taking advantage of their “desperation,” saying that when she decided to transition, “No one really knew what was going on or what to do.”
Furthermore, Moseley said that her doctors gave her “a lot of false hope,” saying, “I really, really, truly thought that I was going to transition into a man, like have a full sex change, and that all of my trauma would be gone and my mental struggles and illnesses would be cured by this.” Instead, Moseley explained that she ended up dealing with both physical and mental health issues as a result of the procedure, describing herself as “very depressed” and dealing with “PCOS and pre-diabetes and all of that.”
Near the end of the interview, Hallowell asked Moseley where she currently stood on faith, to which she replied, “I actually see trans ideology as sort of, like, a tantrum against Christianity.” She added, “I’d like to maybe go to a church in the future, but I’m still doing the personal relationship thing with God.”
In addition, Moseley opined that the church needs to “be careful with how we treat children,” emphasizing the need to accept when young children do not conform to all gender norms, saying, “It’s okay for little girls to want to be like little boys,” adding, “It just doesn’t mean they’re born in the wrong body.”
Building on her point, Moseley asserted that if Christians are “too strict” on the issue of gender norms with a child who is “gender non-conforming, she will run into the open and waiting arms of the doctors who are going to affirm and say she feels that way because she’s a boy.”
