Speaking Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) News in an interview, Christian Hollywood actress Candace Cameron Bure, best known for her role on “Full House” and for her decision to leave the Hallmark Channel over what she saw as storylines that don’t fit with her Christian faith and move to Great American Family, which puts faith first, instead.

She also helped convert “Wonder Years” star Danica McKellar to Christianity, sharing the Scripture with McKellar and answering her questions about the faith and Jesus. Bure said that it has been amazing to watch more people in Hollyw2ood embrace Christ, or at least show interest in Him.

Speaking about that, Bure told CBN News, “It’s pretty incredible from the people that I’ve walked hand-in-hand with and encouraged along the way.” Continuing, she explained, “And just to have a small part of knowing that I planted a seed, or maybe spoke a word that encouraged them along to become a believer — or strengthen their faith in Christ.”

Then, commenting on her gratitude for God having chosen her to help bring other people to the faith, adding that she is humbled by it, Bure said, “It humbles me that God would use me.” Continuing, Bure explained, “I give Him such great thanks for allowing me to use my voice and not be fearful of it — to not sit scared to tell my friends about Jesus.”

Bure also recently spoke about that friendship and how it led to faith, saying that McKellar’s faith journey has been incredible. Further, she added that being able to look at McKellar’s conversion and see that working so hard to promote the faith was paying off is incredibly meaningful and special, particularly since she knows how much it will help her friend.

She said, speaking about McKellar’s faith journey and growth as a Christian, “It’s been incredible. It humbles me when anyone finds the joy and love in Jesus that I know of, and so many people know of.” She added, speaking about how wonderful it is to see proselytizing had an impact, “But when it’s someone that you didn’t even quite realize was searching and you had an impact, it’s even more special.”

Bure then commented on how her friend’s faith journey began, noting that it was McKellar’s willingness to ask questions that led to her ultimately converting to Christianity and welcoming God into her heart. Bure said, “I’m glad she just asked me questions, that was like the most amazing thing she was willing and open to ask and start her journey.”
