More than 10,000 students at the University of Arkansas came together to worship in a massive Christian revival, during which many students dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ. According to Unite US, students from dozens of schools came to the Bud Walton Arena to worship the Lord and be baptized.
For Context, Unite US is an informal Christian movement focused on ministering to college students in the US. The movement began September 12, 2023, at Auburn University in Alabama as a small prayer group, but within a few short years, it had ballooned to a nationwide movement.
As we reported, on September 20, 2024, the ministry took to Instagram to say, “Jesus met us there. We were blown away by His presence in the room and how it carried over to baptisms. It was a night we’ll never forget.” The same post offered a testimony from a young man who attended the event, who said, “I spent a lot of years running from God. I just came to Jesus about five weeks ago, but I got caught up in, I’ll just say it, cocaine and alcohol. I had a lot of really near-death experiences and I think Jesus had his hand on my life because I should not be here.”
Building on that point, Tonya Prewett, a prominent evangelist linked to Unite US, over 2,000 salvations and over 800 baptisms have taken place through the Unite US campus events in the last year. She said, “I believe this is the generation that will usher in the greatest move of God we’ve ever seen, and we’re seeing that.”
Concluding her thoughts, she said, “And I do believe what we had in the fall and spring of this past year is just the beginning. Greater things are coming, and I feel that for the end of this year and leading into 2025, something greater is coming. God is doing something across this nation… I do believe this move of God on college campuses is ushering in a greater awakening.”
According to The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Unite US was”birthed out of a desire to ‘lift the name of Jesus,’ and [that] it gained rapid momentum after its initial outreach at Auburn University’s Neville Arena in September 2023 where 5,000 students showed up to worship Jesus and 200 were spontaneously baptized in a nearby lake.”
Providing additional context, CBN stressed the ministry’s devotion to Christ. They wrote, “The evangelistic college campus movement is marked by salvations, water baptisms, and worship, and it’s beginning to garner national attention, but [one participating pastor] says it is all about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

In another Instagram post, Unite US chronicled another one of their successful revivals. The ministry said, “From the moment we stepped on campus, we knew God was going to move in a special way tonight. 4,500 students gathered in Elliott Hall of Music, and we were blown away seeing how the students leaned in during worship. We still can’t get over seeing nearly half the students in attendance flood the altar to give Jesus their ‘yes’. Thank you, Jesus, for how you’re moving in this generation.”
