Rev. Dr. Frederick Douglass Haynes III is a prominent charismatic pastor and activist. In a sermon recently posted to social media, Haynesmelted down over the election of Donald Trump. Previously, he admitted to taking orders to write a racially tinged sermon based on instructions from Harris. Online commentators pounced on the clip, with many expressing their dissatisfaction.
“White supremacy won. Patriarchy won. Sexism won. Greed won,” he theatrically began. ” All of that won this past Tuesday, and we live in a nation calling itself the United States of America, espousing values of liberty and justice, and yet we have elected someone that is going to propel us into a project, 2025 world. A project. 2025 world that is going to dismantle public education.”
“A project, 2025 world that, while dismantling public education, is going to feed private schools for rich people and their children and so the haves get more, and the have nots get less, and they going to try to make us pass the same standardized test,” Haynes theatrically said. “I’m simply saying my sisters and brothers, we’re moving into a Project 2025, world, a world where the Civil Rights Bill of 64 is going to be destroyed.”
“A world where they are going to have King Donald reigning because of the Supreme Court saying he can reign without restraints. He can reign without any guardrails whatsoever, and his cult following is now so emboldened that they had the nerve to scare our young people,” he finally wrapped up.” This week, sending messages that targeted our young people, telling them to report to slave plantations.”
Earlier this year, he described taking orders from the Harris campaign. “On Monday, I got to go to San Francisco, and I’m preaching already for the Sun Reporter newspaper,” Haynes began his story. “They’re having an honorific event for black men and my girl, Amelia Ashley Ward, the outstanding publisher, she… says… she’s real good friends with the Madam Vice President.”He describes how the VP relayed that he needed ” to do a speech on black men and the 2024 election.”
“Now she tells me that after midnight, and I’ve been working on another speech, and she tells me, after midnight, I need to do a speech on black men and the 2024 election,” the pastor explained. ” God began to speak immediately, and I ended up talking about black men and the politics of Black jobs. And so I said, it’s our black job to keep a white supremacist out the White House.”
According to his webpage, “Rev. Dr. Frederick Douglass Haynes III, is a prophetic pastor, passionate leader, social activist, eloquent orator, and educator engaged in preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and fighting against racial injustice.” The same source indicates, ” Dr. Haynes is also committed to and has devoted his life to economic justice and empowerment in under-served communities and touching and transforming the lives of the disenfranchised. ”

Social media erupted with condemnation after the sermon. “Men that display they are unlearned should not be allowed to be pastors. People that prove they’re more willing to listen to propaganda should not be allowed to be pastors. Everything he said is entirely incorrect and should disqualify him from his position in leadership,” replied one account.
