Addressing a joint session of Congress and the American people on March 4th of this year, President Donald Trump declared he wanted a permanent moratorium, a law enshrined, to prevent minors from undergoing sex change and criminalize those performing them. The president received a standing ovation from the Republican Party upon this announcement, in which he called the movement “toxic.”
“Our message to every child in America is that you are perfect, exactly the way God made you,” Trump declared in the culminating moment of this particular issue. The speech highlights perhaps a crescendo in society where the left has for years been amping up rhetoric, ideology, and praxis to support the notion that members of one sex can be “trapped” in the wrong body and thus identify with the other sex. Using the authority of Executive Privilege, the president has also declared that there are only two sexes, male and female.
“My administration is also working to protect our children from toxic ideologies in our schools,” the president stated, before sharing a story about a family who discovered their child had been socially transition in the public school system without their knowledge nor their consent. While readers may assume this transpired in California, the reality is that the social transition occurred in the red state of Florida, where both Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump enjoyed healthy margins of victory in their most recent contests for governor and president, respectively.
“A few years ago, January, Little John and her husband discovered that their daughter’s school had secretly socially transitioned their 13 year old little girl, teachers and administrators conspired to deceive January and her husband while encouraging her daughter to use a new name and pronouns. They them pronouns, actually, all without telling January, who is here tonight and is now a courageous advocate against this form of child abuse. January. Thank you. Thank you very much,” the president said before pausing for a round of enthusiastic applause.
Trump concluded his remarks by saying: “Shortly after taking office, I signed an executive order banning public schools from indoctrinating our children with transgender ideology. I also signed in order to cut off all taxpayer funding to any institution that engages in the sexual mutilation of our youth. And now I want Congress to pass a bill permanently banning and criminalizing sex changes on children and forever ending the lie that any child is trapped in the wrong body, this is a big lie, and our message to every child In America is that you are perfect, exactly the way God made you.”
