A huge baptism movement swept across America on Saturday, May 11, with people gathering to worship God and join his community at locations across America, with the event led by revivalist and Core Group leader Jenny Weaver at Sarasota, Florida’s Siesta Key Beach. At the same time, similar events happened in California, Texas, and the Midwest.
Weaver took to Facebook to post about the incredible event, thanking Christian Broadcasting News (CBN) for its favorable profile and saying, “When God does something He makes it known!! This is not about a person or ministry this is about A MOVE OF GOD 😭😭😭😭😭”
And, posting on Facebook about the powerful baptism event on the day it occurred, Weaver said, “BAPTISM REVIVAL!!! Summer of Baptisms on Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota Florida!! Absolutely A MOVE OF GOD!!! Almost 2000 signed up and hundreds were baptized😭😭😭😭 The Core Group Photography by Re-vhealed Photography”
Posting about the baptisms in Texas and a church there that opened its doors to the event, Weaver said, “Just found out Trinity church ⛪️ is opening their facility to us to use for baptisms in Texas!! Cedar hill location! There have a HUGE field and We are brining additional pools!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 MAY 25th Thank you to the wonderful pastors there Jim and Becky Hennesy ❤️❤️❤️”
Weaver also highlighted a miracle that occurred during the Florida baptisms, saying, “So we just baptized this guy at siesta key Beach, him and his daughter, he laid down the alcohol. He went into the water drunk and he came out sober!!! 🤯🤯🤯 He went in blind in one eye and now he can see 😭😭😭 he is transformed 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”
Another person, Julia Valdez, posted about the California baptisms, saying, “California Core Group Baptisms! Summer of baptisms! 💦🌊💧Wow. Yesterday was incredible. So many baptized. So many saved. So many healed. So many delivered. So many baptized in the Holy Spirit. So much unity. So much love. So much restoration. Most importantly JESUS was glorified! The gospel proclaimed! All glory to king Jesus!! 😭😭😭😭🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Thank you Jenny Weaver & Stephen Weaver for asking us to help with baptisms in California. It was an honor.”

Further, Weaver, speaking about organizing the baptism events, said, “The Lord spoke to me, and He literally said, ‘Summer of Baptism.’ I saw us going to different places and doing baptisms.” She also told Fox News, speaking about her background and why she feels called to bring people to Christ, “This is an eternal thing and people can find that the transformation is in Jesus. I am an ex-Wiccan. I was homeless. I was living on the street…and now I am completely changed and there is only one thing that did that and that is Jesus.”
Another person posting about the powerful baptism event, Megan West, posted pictures of the crowds getting baptized and said, in the caption, “Hundreds of people drove from many surrounding states. Over 130 people made decisions to repent, rededicate, or surrender their lives to Jesus and get baptized.”
