Long-time leftist mouthpiece Ana Kasparian of the Young Turks caused a massive controversy after resurfaced video of her celebrating the decline of both whiteness and Christianity in the United States found its way back to the Elon Musk-owned social media platform of X. The video’s impact wasn’t diminished by its age as similar sentiments are currently expressed by leftists and most of the Democrat Party.
For context, Kasparian was reacting to a survey that found white Christians were a minority in the United States. This troubling trend was met with celebration from the woke co-host, as she then parroted the common talking point from her ilk that white Christians brought nothing but bloodshed and violence to the lands they conquered.
Sitting from her faux news anchor desk, Kasparian read off the hackneyed script as she welcomed the unsettling reality of white Christians in declined. “A new survey indicates that white Christians are, for the first time, a minority in the United States. Well, first time since whites came and basically did their colonial thing. But anyway, let’s wiped out everyone else. Wiped out everyone else,” she said.
“Now, the survey that was done by Public Religion Institute actually talked to over 100,000 people in the US, and the whole point was to find out whether or not there are differences in religious leanings and what the minorities and majorities are in regard to religious affiliation. Here’s what they found. White Christians once predominant in the country’s religious life. Now comprise only 43% of the population,” she continued.
“Just to give you an example of what that population used to be like four decades ago, about eight in 10 Americans were white Christians. It used to be 80% that was 43% that is a giant difference in four decades, and that is, by the way, exactly why we are seeing the overreaction from the right wing that we are today. They are in a panic. Oh, my God, our time is almost up. We used to rule everything, and soon everybody will be equal,” she finished.

Of course, Kasparian is intentionally misremembering history, as it was peace and civilization that Christian Europeans brought with them and who ended the barbaric way of life that preceded them. Even today, societies differing from that model and in places where demographics are changing are hostile to the white women like Kasparian herself.
“Imagine how Ana would fare in a non-white Christian society. This kind of woman is so dumb. What do they call this, fatal compassion?” wrote one astute observer on X. And in another comment, one observer noted that despite the racial makeup indeed changing as Democrats’ Great Replacement Theory is implemented, the percentage of Christians in America’s population is growing.
“Too bad for them, Christianity is actually growing again, especially among younger people in the US. Atheism just wasn’t doing it for a lot of them, so they’re looking for something with more meaning, direction, and community,” they wrote.
