A powerful clip of Vice President JD Vance speaking in front of a CPAC audience was shared by the X account belonging to the late Charlie Kirk, before he was assassinated, in which the close friend of Kirk gave an important message to young men everywhere. Vance further elaborated that not only did the message matter, but that the Trump administration was working to enshrine elements of his belief as public policy.

For context, JD Vance was sitting down for an interview at the 2025 CPAC convention in Washington, D.C. At the time, he had been serving as the vice president for just under one month, but came prepared to celebrate many of the initial wins achieved by the entire Trump team. He highlighted border security, foreign policy, and toward the end of his time on stage, left a message for young men, who have voiced concern at being left behind in America.

“My message to young men is: Don’t allow this broken culture to send you a message that you’re a bad person because you’re a man, because you like to tell a joke, because you like to have a beer with your friends, or because you’re competitive,” he insisted.

“It’s our Our like our our our message the the cultural message and I think the president’s and mine is the exact opposite but our cultural message is I think that it wants to turn everybody into whether male or female into androgynous idiots who think the same, talk the same, and act the same. We actually think God made male and female for a purpose, and we want you guys to thrive as young men and as young women. And we’re going to help with our public policy to make it possible to do that,” he finished in the clip.

Watch that message from Vance below:

Reacting on X where he shared the video, Charlie Kirk praised Vance for highlighting the struggles of young men in the modern age, leaving fire emojis and capstone the post with a short ‘Amen’ voicing his concurring opinion.

“Vice President JD Vance has a powerful message for young men,” he said followed by the emojis before quoting the Vice President in the post. ‘My message to young men is don’t allow this broken culture to send you a message that you’re a bad person because you’re a man, because you like to tell a joke, because you like to have a beer with your friends, or because you’re competitive.’”

He added: “Our culture ‘wants to turn everybody, whether male or female, into androgynous idiots who think the same, talk the same, and act the same. We actually think God made male and female for a purpose, and we want you guys to thrive as young men, and as young women. And we’re going to help with our public policy to make it possible to do that.’ Amen,” he finished.

Users under the post shared a similar reaction. “JD Vance was definitely the right man for the VP job,” one person put concisely as he praised the vice president for voicing support to young men.

“This is incredible. He just said what millions of young men need to hear,” another commented, before expanding on their thoughts. “Masculinity isn’t toxic. Competitiveness isn’t toxic. Wanting to be a strong man isn’t toxic. What is toxic? A culture that tries to strip men of purpose, drive, and faith. We need more leaders who build men up instead of tearing them down,” they finished.

A third user chimed in with similar sentiments. “Love VP JD Vance’s message to young men, telling them to stand tall and not be ashamed of who they are. The left’s attempts to emasculate and shame men need to stop. Men should be proud of their masculinity. VP Vance is a true leader and a great role model for young men everywhere,” the post stated.
