“Proclaimed The Gospel Boldly And Proudly”: Karoline Leavitt Honors Charlie Kirk’s Legacy Of Proselytization In Touching Tribute

Karoline Leavitt delivered a powerful eulogy to Charlie Kirk, focusing on his Christian faith and love of Jesus Christ, in a moving tribute put together by the Trump administration and hosted at the Kennedy Center. Leavitt was one of several members of the White House to remember the late Kirk after his horrific assassination in Utah.

Though few readers need a reminder, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk – a man who embodied the notion of God, family, country – was assassinated while speaking on a Utah college campus by 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. More information has since come out that Robinson was seemingly in a relationship with a young person in the process of transitioning and engaged in some of the most radical online discussions related to the transgender movement.

Kirk’s death touched a nerve not seen in this country since perhaps 9/11 and the Kennedy assassination, as the entire nation now grapples with the loss of a loving husband and father, as well as the ramifications that in essence debate with the radical left was also ended that day. Kirk represented the best of what America offers, in that he focused on and shared his love and salvation of Jesus Christ, as well as being the ultimate family man and loving father to two young children. He also embraced debate with opposing viewpoints, something that happened little before and will almost certainly wither away in the aftermath of his killing.

Joining other speakers like Tulsi Gabbard and RFK, Jr, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt took the stage at the Kennedy Center to eulogize Kirk, and in one powerful clip, centered her comments on the one thing never missing from Kirk’s presentations: His love of Christ.

“So many influential voices in our society are brainwashing young people to abandon our faith, to stay single, not to have children, and to bash our country,” Leavitt remarked. “Charlie Kirk offered us an alternative path. Charlie embraced our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and proclaimed the gospel boldly and proudly.”

Leavitt would go on to say that Kirk’s message for young people was simple; they needed to reject the secular atheism and worship of the self and get back to traditional Christian basics. He encouraged them to develop a relationship with their Savior and build a family. “Charlie preached a message of faith to all who would listen. He encouraged young people to get married and to have children,” she said.

Making the story personal, Leavitt then added she had walked the path laid out by Kirk. “And as a young person who has done it, I encourage you to do that as well. It is the best thing in life, it is the ultimate legacy that we can leave, and our most important mission on this earth, Charlie celebrated American exceptionalism, and as you heard from our great speaker of the house, he firmly believed, and he proclaimed that America is the greatest country in the history of the world,” she added.

Watch that powerful moment below:

Leavitt is far from the only conservative voice to pay touching tribute to Kirk. Fox’s Greg Gutfeld spoke with passion and conviction in fiery remarks about Kirk’s legacy, as did the Reverend Franklin Graham, who posted to Facebook just moments after news broke of Kirk’s passing. Graham paid a moving tribute to the late Charlie Kirk while using his online pulpit to underscore the importance of faith and scripture in the grimmest of times.

“What a tragedy. It has been announced that Charlie Kirk has died after being shot during an event at Utah Valley University today,” Reverend Graham wrote. This young man loved his country and invested his time and energy in trying to make it the best it could be. He stood boldly for conservative values and defended free speech for all of us.”

“Most importantly,” Graham continued, “Charlie loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for his wife Erika, their two young children, and all of their family. It’s in these moments of darkness that we need to stand on the Scripture that Erika shared on social media, ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble’ (Psalm 46:1).”
