Rev. Franklin Graham Calls For National Prayer In Appeal To God To Help Stop Destructive Leftists

Reverend Franklin Graham appealed to both Christ and Americans in a powerful way as he sought to restore the country to a less hateful, violent nation. Indeed, Graham was reacting to the epidemic of Democrat-created crises, ranging from dangerous and destructive protests to unpunished criminality in blue city centers.

For context, a post from Graham on January 12th on social media acknowledged the troubled times. “If you think our nation is in trouble now, just wait… As our streets boil over with hate, anger, crime, drugs, and just sheer hopelessness, is there something we can do? You bet there is,” the Reverend declared, reminding his flock that there are always answers with God.

In the face of dangerous rhetoric and actions taken by the woke left, particularly in Minneapolis where Democrats are defending Somali fraud and the presence of illegal aliens, often with nasty speech and actions, Graham suggested a national prayer for Christians to come together.

“I would like to call for a time of prayer and repentance this Wednesday, January 14, at 12:00 noon ET,” he said, before stating that as Americans’ sin adds up, we increasingly turn away from God. “As a nation, our sins are so great. We have increasingly turned our backs on God and His commands, embracing godless secularism. We need to ask His forgiveness and seek His face.”

The son of Billy Graham asked for prayers for those in charge and for peace to be returned to the streets. One wonders if that prayer might include the swift arrest of every radical leftist agitator bringing mayhem to the communities in Minnesota and across the country. “Pray for our leaders, and pray that God would bring calm to our streets.”

Continuing, Reverend Graham then issued his most forceful statement yet, boldly calling out the leftist protestors focused on destroying America. “There are many who would like to stir things up—there are even those who would like to destroy this great country. Pray that these efforts would be thwarted and their plans would be brought into confusion,” he said.

“Ask God to use His Church to be His instruments of peace in this time of great uncertainty,” Graham continued, before again highlighting the date of January 14th to appeal collectively to God to pray for peace and a resolution to Democrat outrage and destruction. “Remember, this Wednesday at noon, please stop and pray. Millions of people remembering our sins and asking for forgiveness, repenting, and seeking His face will make a difference.”

“Let’s humble ourselves. Let’s give God the glory for this great nation and thank Him for His hand of blessing, protection, and mercy,” his post finished.
