President Donald Trump praised the pastor of a church invaded by Don Lemon and other radical leftist activists as anti-ICE rhetoric and operations escalate towards further violence. Trump said despite being ‘accosted’ by the likes of the disgusting Lemon he remained ‘so calm’ and ‘so nice.’
For context, on January 18th of 2026 multiple Minnesota churches experienced a frightening display of escalating terror when hordes of anti-ICE activists forced worship services to be halted by invading the nave and altar. Once inside, they chanted and got in the face of congregants, many of whom were young children.
Among the agitators was failed CNN anchor Don Lemon, who helped lead one of the invasions in a Minneapolis church. He later gushed at seeing children fleeing with their families, saying the purpose of protest was to make people uncomfortable.
Reminding Americans whom ICE is targeting, the president spoke at the White House Briefing Room podium reiterating that violent criminal aliens were being defended by Democrats. “So this is what the people are trying to protect. Because all ICE wants to do is get them out of our country, bring them to prisons and jails and mental institutions from where they came. That’s all they want to do.
Trump then called immigration officials and agents heroes that have to deal with incessant nonsense from ‘guys like Don Lemon.’ “They’re patriots, and they have to be abused by guys like Don Lemon, who’s a loser, lightweight,” the president continued.
Completing his remarks, President Trump added that the pastor’s response to such hideous tactics and indecency was incredible. “I saw him the way he walked in that church. It was terrible. I have such respect for that pastor. He was so calm, he was so nice. He was just accosted. What they did in that church was horrible.”

The moment referenced by Trump was filmed by Lemon himself, who after barging into the church and terrorizing worshippers found the pastor and pretended to do journalism, which was really just an excuse to morally lecture him from a progressive point of view.
Lemon hid behind false notions of the Constitution during the self-aggrandizing moment, telling the pastor that America’s founding document supposedly gave him the right to violate the right of others to worship and trespass on private property. The pastor immediately pushed back and called it out for what it was.
“This is unacceptable. It’s shameful,” the man responded to Lemon as another clip begins. “It’s shameful to interrupt a public gathering of Christians in worship,” he declared. “We’re here to worship. We’re here to worship Jesus because that’s the hope of these cities. That’s the hope of the world. Is Jesus Christ…we’re here to worship Jesus.”
At the mention of Jesus, Lemon disgustingly pivoted using another common leftist tactic by trying to weaponize Christianity to suit his own needs. “What you think Jesus would be understanding. and love these folks. But did you try to talk to them? As a Christian [are you] willing to talk?”
Lemon even identified as a Christian to the pastor as if that also defended invading a church. Watch the insane interview below where failed CNN anchor Don Lemon storms a church and gets in the face of the pastor below:
