Vance WRECKS Jen Psaki With Perfect Comeback After Former Press Secretary Derides Christian Prayer

Vice President JD Vance took a wrecking ball to Joe Biden’s former Press Secretary after the latter mocked Christians who turn to prayer in times of grief. Jen Psaki set off an internet storm when she posted that she was fed up with appealing to God and said”‘enough with thoughts and prayers” in the wake of the tragic attack on a Minneapolis Catholic school.

Vance replied directly to Jen Psaki’s X post, which has now been seen over 15 million times, quote-tweeting, “We pray because our hearts are broken. We pray because we know God listens. We pray because we know that God works in mysterious ways, and can inspire us to further action.”

Not done, he then asked the hard-hitting question of why Psaki felt inclined to tell people how they should respond to unthinkable tragedy and grieving. “Why do you feel the need to attack other people for praying when kids were just killed praying?” the Vice President added in the post.

And still not done, Vance followed up his own original post with a second comment, this time going after the woke left for its abhorrence of belief and connection to God when times get the hardest. “Of all the weird left wing culture wars in the last few years, this is by far the most bizarre. “How dare you pray for innocent people in the midst of tragedy?!” What are you even talking about?” the nation’s second-ever Catholic vice president demanded.

As reported earlier by The Christian Tribune, a single gunman attacked students and adults through a window early on the morning of August 27th as the group gathered for a morning Mass. “Terror swept through a Minneapolis Catholic school early Wednesday morning when a lone gunman, alleged to be a 23-year-old man identifying as a woman, shot through the windows of the building during Mass. In total, two children were pronounced dead and a further six were in critical condition upon arrival to a nearby hospital. Eleven others were injured,” the Tribune wrote.

Minneapolis Police Chief Michael O’Hara said in a later interview that “the shooter approached from the outside of the building and fired a rifle through the church windows towards children and worshippers,” adding that “the shooter also used a shotgun and a pistol.”

Reports are still that several children remain in critical condition. In the immediate aftermath of the tragedy, two children – aged 8 and 10 – were killed as they sat in the pews. A total of 17 others were injured, with 14 of them school-age children as well. Addressing an auditorium the day after the shooting, Vance invited those who were willing to join him in prayer to honor the fallen children. “If you are the praying type. I would ask you to join me in prayer,” the vice president began.

“I’m just going to say a prayer for the two little kids who who lost their lives yesterday. And this is a prayer we say a lot in my church, and I’ve always found it very meaningful. It’s very short, but eternal rest. Grant unto them, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God. Rest in peace. Amen. Thank you all,” he concluded.
