In a viral outburst, Tennessee Democratic State Representative Justin J. Pearson unleashed a fierce attack on President Donald Trump and his supporters during a church service. Known for his theatrical far-left rhetoric, Pearson labeled Trump a “white supremacist domestic terrorist president” and leveled similar smears on his supporters and Christians at large.
For context, Justin J. Pearson represents District 86 in the Tennessee State House, representing parts of Memphis. He gained national attention after the horrific Covenant School shooting in Nashville, where he shamelessly leveraged the tragedy for political gain alongside two other far-left activists, who became infamous as the “Tennessee Three.”
Starting his heated tirade, Pearson used a strained analogy to smear President Trump. He said, “Here indeed is a tabletop, but underneath every tabletop are some legs. The tabletop is white supremacist ideology, but the legs are a white supremacist domestic terrorist president, Neo Nazis forming and marching in Tennessee leaders of the current presidential administration saying things like, I was racist before it was cool.
Still not done with his offensive rant, Pearson said, “[There are] legs of separation of black folks and white folks, the creation of racism and its othering within our educational system, like my mama studies the erasure of Black History, saying it has no value. There’s some tables that have legs, like deporting Latino brothers and sisters without due process while a convicted felon runs the country.”
During a long-winded aside, more notable for its over-the-top rhetoric than its grammar, the state representative attacked conservative Christians. He whined, “A couple of y’all got me the table top is America first, white Christian nationalism, but the legs are the New Apostolic reformation theology, which are this Christian movement in the United States of America that is now using theology to weaponize political ideologies and misuse God for their own purposes.”
Continuing his theatrics, Rep. Pearson parroted woke ideology about gender. The Democrat stated, “The tabletop is anti LGBTQIA, plus legislation, homophobia, and transphobia. But what are the legs refusing to provide rights to same sex couples as heterosexual couples, bullying young children who are being refused to say their pronouns, allowing parents to harm their children by refusing to give them necessary health care.”
Finally concluding his work temper tantrum, Rep. Pearson kept harping on far-left ideology. He said, “Black trans women being the most likely to be killed in the LGBTQIA plus community, realize they black first white supremacists out here talking about lynching black, gay people and the silence in our communities, not defending the dignity of everybody, calling everybody beloved, calling everybody a child of God.”
Watch Peason’s meltdown here:
Responding to the viral clip, Virgil Walker, a prominent black conservative, took Peason to task. He said, “Justin Pearson in a Memphis church looking like a 1967 action figure. The afro? The preacher voice? The revolution talk? ALL THEATER He’s not channeling MLK. He’s pedaling the dead lies to sell woke idolatry. If you’re buying it, you’re conquered.”
Building on that point, other users slammed the shameless Democrat. One comment read, “So much energy…to say virtually nothing of substance. It’s making me tired just watching.” Another joked, “Like hitting yourself in the forehead with a hammer. It feels so good when it stops.”
