Scott Stapp, the lead singer for the famous rock band Creed, recently explained to the crowd how the United States was founded on the principles laid out in the Bible. Over the years, Creed’s music has had Christian undertones, and Stapp has been outspoken about his Christian faith. Creed has enjoyed a recent surge of popularity, selling out its tour.

Stapp said between songs, “But that’s exactly what the powers that be. That’s what they want. They want us divided. They want us separate. They want us to polarize in our own little niches, in our own little groups, thinking we’re right, they’re wrong. Invigorating. You know why? To keep us distracted from holding them accountable.”

He continued highlighting how the polarization in America has led to the masses being more controllable. “They start dividing us and programming us. They teach us about how to be good slaves to authority, about how to do this and do that and think this way and think that way, all conforming us into this divided group of assets
and pause.”

Urging the crowd to “wake up,” the singer continued, illustrating how the ongoing culture war in America had led to the violation of civil rights. “It’s divide and conquer. We say we’re doing it everywhere else, but it’s happening every other country of doing we’re doing right here. Your civil rights are being violated every single minute of every single day,” he said.

Stapp further illustrated how constant fighting distracts us from focusing on what really matters. He pointed out how society also falls into the trap of consumerism, which becomes the bread and circus of the masses, placating their desires.

“Focus on what divides us, and we argue about this, and we argue about that and we’re keyboard warriors, and we go to our entertainment and become perfect little citizens that go buy the latest trends everything to keep us distracted from what’s happening right in front of our,” he said.

Doubling down on his calls for everyone to wake up and see the truth, Stapp said, “The only way to make change is to wake up and come together as a lot focus on what we have in common, which is life, freedom, love, happiness. We put it on common ground. We prepare and as we’re building that common ground, we stop keeping the powers that be accountable.”

“We start reminding them of what our Constitution says. We start reminding them what our Bill Of Rights says. We remind them that we are a Constitutional Republic built upon the Bible and the word of God and NOT a democracy,” Stapp continued, pointing out the Christian roots that American was undeniably founded on.

Stapp concluded before kicking off the next song, “I want us to come together as one and enjoy this next song, my friends, and realize that it’s not a fantasy. It’s not a fantasy that we all wake up and take back the power that was rightfully given us, rightfully given to us, it’s our birthright.”
