Speaking to the Trinity Broadcasting Network, “Mr. T,” the famous “A Team” actor, spoke about the Gospel and God’s grace, explaining how God calls all to Him and that those who do so are saved, noting that the Gospel is unique and important as a call to all rather than to a specific group.

Speaking about the Gospel and quoting Romans 10:13, Mr. T said, “‘Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” He continued, “You can’t help but realize this is an unlimited invitation. This invitation is most uncommon and most unusual because this invitation means that any man, every man and all men are welcome. This invitation means whosoever will, let them come.”

He then explained how the Gospel’s call to all is different because of how it is a unique call to all rather than just some, saying, “The most important thing you notice is that God is not a segregationist. If any man, any man [desires]. Jesus the great inviter calls for all men to come to him. The rich, the poor and the ugly.” He added, “Jesus said ‘come.’” He added,. “There’s a kind of totality in this [invitation]. If any man, there’s a kind of Christian outreach within the ministry of our Jesus Christ.” He also explained, “You can’t out-sin God’s love!”

Further, explaining how Christianity saved him from a life of crime that would have surely ended in prison, he said, “I got to have God. See, I think about what I’ve been through being in this world and whatnot; if I didn’t have God, I wouldn’t be here. I’d be in prison. I’d be going off on people and stuff like that with people following me and taking pictures of me to get dirt on me.”

You are indeed a living testimony and we pray for great grace, fresh anointing, supernatural strength, divine wisdom and the guidance of the Holy Spirit as you continue to be a witness of the resurrected Jesus🙏👏👏👏”

This isn’t the first time Mr. T has spoken about his faith. In a 2022 post on Twitter, for example, he said, “While some are busy bringing up my past, I’ll be busy looking to my future, thanking God for His grace and His mercy. Because ‘If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature’…I may be wrong, but I think Jesus said, ‘Let he that is among you, that is without sin, cast the first stone.’”
