Incredible footage taken from inside the Kansas Capitol in Topeka captured a satanic group leader punching a young Christian man directly in the face before being tackled by several police officers. The altercation came after a day of dueling protests – on one side a small band of satanists and on the other hundreds of Christians uniting agains them – at the Kansas Statehouse.
Michael Stewart, affiliated with The Satanic Grotto, had earlier in the day led chants of “Hail Satan!” on the outside steps during a planned rally before violating the permissions of the protest and holding a demonstration within the building. He knowingly and intentionally proceeded to violate a ban on protest within the Capitol building itself, which ultimately led to the disgusting moment.
The video shows Stewart chanting and holding up what appear to be papers while being surrounded by a small band of supporters, opposing Christians, and a heavy presence of security. When confronted by a counter-protesting Christian who attempted to snatch those materials out of his hands, the satanic leader immediately countered with two swift punches. Despite being considerably larger than his victim, the aggressing Stewart did not knock him to the ground.
Immediately, several police moved in to arrest the satanist. He was instantly thrown to the ground and restrained, all the while saying “I’m not resisting.” The comments seem to suggest that the entire show was an act meant to generate attention for himself. He knew not to go inside, he knew he wouldn’t get away with violence, and yet he did anyway.
Take a look a the moment when Stewart twice punches the young Christian man below:
Catholic News Agency (CNA) reported that the culmination of the competing protests occurred precisely because Stewart had no interest in playing by the set of rules prescribed by the state of Kansas. Protesting outside the Capitol was allowed; protesting inside was not. And Stewart appeared to have made it known he intended to violate an order from Kansas Governor Laura Kelly prohibiting the act of protest within the rotunda.
“Upon reaching the Capitol building’s doors, law enforcement had greeted Stewart and told him he was welcome to enter but could not hold a demonstration. Gov. Laura Kelly had previously banned all protesters from entering the building,” CNA wrote, adding: “Stewart had publicly announced on numerous occasions his intention to defy Kelly’s order and enter the Capitol rotunda, saying in a recent Facebook live video that he intended to enter the building and ‘read prayers.'”
The planned ‘Black Mass” was an intentional mockery of traditional Catholic Mass. Stewart. Indeed, it is sacrilegious and intentional blasphemy of the sacrament of the Eucharist. In satanism, the ritual takes as many aspects as it can and turns them upside down. Though Stewart says he paid for the materials at the protest, oftentimes the bread has been stolen from a church in yet another form of mockery.
