Far-left Hispanic congresswoman Adelita Grijalva, one of the newer members of the Democrat caucus after she filled a seat vacated by her late father in 2025, went on a wild tirade against the Trump administration for its heavily Christian-themed ceremonies surrounding America’s 250th anniversary celebrations while appearing on the rebranded MSNOW.
For context, Representative Grijalva is the daughter for former Arizona representative Raul Grijalva, a temperamental and militant Democrat who always put his own ethnicity before the common good of America. His own life was one of working for radical leftist causes promoting Mexicans, and his daughter appears to identify first as the granddaughter of an illegal alien despite representing the third generation of American heritage.
While appearing on MSNOW, the younger Grijalva blasted the Trump administration for various offenses, as she often does, this time singling it out for allegedly violating the Constitutional concept of separation of church and state. Of course, the irony on all leftists is that while they screech about Christianity being too involved, there is never a mutter about Islam’s rise within the United States nor the woke secular religion the rest of them practice.
Introducing the topic, the automaton host intoned about Trump and ‘his cronies’ embedding the boogeyman of ‘Christian Nationalism’ in the ceremonies celebrating and honoring America on her 250th anniversary. Instead of likewise expressing gratitude for their ability to make a lot of money in this amazing country despite their limited intelligence and understanding, both appeared on fancy cameras with endless complaints
“This iteration of America 250 this freedom 250 the Donald Trump and his cronies have engaged in. There is a real strong element of Christian nationalism that is meant to define what it means to be an American. Can you speak to that, and what you guys uncovered,” the host asked.
“That’s incredibly problematic, because our nation is built on really the contributions of immigrants, of people from all different countries, all different nationalities, and all different religions. We do not have an official religion in this country, nor do I believe should we. We are supposed to be this melting pot where everyone comes together and is stronger as a result of it,”she began in an incredibly long run-on sentence.
“But under this administration it is more about how Christian you are, you know, you’re not, if you’re Catholic, you’re not Christian enough, if you’re Muslim, you’re not part of our, I mean, it’s like this sort of club of elitist and they keep pushing people away and out of what is supposed to be a really solid celebration, even some of the speakers that were speaking all spoke of religion, and not, not as much about what our, what is what the contributions have been in our country.
“We could have had a true celebration of art, music, poetry, just, just a big encompassing celebration of what it is to be an American, and everyone that has contributed, but what it, what it has been is an incredibly stifling hot environment where nobody is coming to, because there’s really nothing to see there,” she whined.
After her rant finished, the host picked up where she left off. “Yeah, some of the earliest Americans were those who were fleeing religious persecution, and that’s been a long-standing tenant of our country’s success. It’s also the freedom of religion is guaranteed in the First Amendment. I could go on and on about how one religion shouldn’t hijack an entire celebration of America real quickly. Trend lines are looking good for the Dems to take back the House. Do you think this would be something that would be investigated if Democrats get the gavel back?” he queried, to which she said they absolutely would.
