In a video that sent he internet ablaze, failed Democratic candidate for VP Tim Walz’s daughter, Hope, drew a connection between a deported MS-13 gangster and Christ. In her woke diatribe, Hope Walz said that if he were alive today, the Trump administration would have deported Jesus, which drew widespread condemnation from Christians.
For context, Democrats have been losing their minds since the Trump administration deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged member of the violent MS-13 gang. While woke activists have disputed his gang ties, despite gang tattoos on the man’s hands and a lengthy criminal record, conservatives have defended deporting the violent illegal immigrant.
In any case, Hope Walz began her screed with a sacrilegious claim. She said, “If Jesus were alive today and in the United States, this administration would have already taken him and removed him from this country without due process, claimed he was a member of the MS 13 gang as a way to try to justify not giving him due process as the as if there is any justifiable reason to not giving somebody due process.”
Still not done, she explained her convoluted reasoning, she added, “But yeah, some people don’t want to talk about that. It truly is baffling how clear and laid out everything is, and there is (sic) still people standing by it. I believe in the good of people and like humanity, humans, you know, deep down at our core, like we care about each other.”
Wrapping up her woke remarks, she said, “That’s really being tested, because how anyone is okay with this is terrifying to me. But yeah, if you look like me, speak up. Speak out, because we might be the only one safe from what’s coming and some of the only people that are able to stop it. So, yeah, it’s our duty at this point.”
Exposing her radical views, prominent podcaster Derek Hunter slammed the woke activist on April 21, 2025. He said, ‘“If Jesus were alive today…” – Hope Walz. Tell me you don’t know the first thing about Christianity without telling me you don’t know the first thing about Christianity.”
In the comments under his post, conservatives blasted Hope Walz’s far-left screed. One such comment said, “She is so full of anger and hate like her dad @Tim_Walz. About the same level of intelligence too. Pretty sure Jesus wouldn’t have had gang tats. she is literally comparing Jesus to illegal immigrants with violent criminal records. Could you be any more disrespectful?”

Rounding out the comments, another said, “She is a d*mn lair! President Trump bows his knees to Jesus every day as he did at the W.H. a couple of days ago! Democrats are the ones who would stone him to death if he were here!” One of the comments read, “She should be on her knees thanking Jesus her path hasn’t crossed with one of these murderers.” Reacting with anger, one user stated, “No, dear. Jesus was without sin & was never an illegal alien, refugee or criminal regardless of what the Romans & Pharisees said. Although, I’m now a smidge more in favor of deporting stupid Americans.”
