The 16-year-old Texas student who made a fool of woke Democrat Jamie Raskin in an absolutely embarrassing display during congressional testimony yet again took to the airwaves in defense of a traditional, Christian view of the United States as his school district went out of its way to celebrate Islam.
For context, East Wylie High School in Wylie, Texas – a northeast suburb of the Dallas area – caused a national uproar after it was revealed the principal there allowed for a ‘Why Islam’ event that featured Qurans being handed out, as well as hijabs, while also appearing to promote Sharia law.
The double standard was blamed on a ‘procedural mistake’ according to the district, but the only procedure that appeared to be made was getting caught. In no world does a similar event promoting Christian values, handing out Bibles, and focusing on traditional Christian beliefs ever occur in East Wylie High School under the same administration.
Marco Hunter Lopez made a short YouTube video introducing himself and his role as a young Republican leader in the high school after the Islamic focus gained traction. “Hi, I’m Marco. I’m the president of the high school Republicans at Wiley East High School,” he says in the short video.
“And today there was an organization called Why Islam that had a huge table booth in our front of our school today, and they were giving hijabs to Muslim girls out throughout the high school, and they were giving out Qurans, and they also had pamphlets about Sharia law and other Islamic things, and they were giving out these bags, and I had a discussion with the women that were there, and we’re trying to understand what’s going on,” he said.
In a separate interview, compiled in the video below, Hunter Lopez tells Fox News Digital that parents with Christian values need to realize the government school system is out to get them. “Parents need to start waking up students across Texas, across the country, start going to your school board, start speaking out, start speaking for your Christian values, because the Bible says don’t bring the world in, it says go out into the world and preach the gospel, so that’s what we’re sending here for the next generation,” he said in the interview.
As referenced, the young man was also in Congress where he completely humiliated one of the Democrats most experienced lawyers. The student was more composed and mature than the grown Democrat adult. “Was the first original 13 colonies that required a declaration of faith, so I’m not acknowledging that,” the student can be seen saying in the beginning of a clip before being uncomfortably attacked by a man over three times his age.
“Well, wait a second. You’re traversing my territory now, Mr. Hunter Lopez. You brought it up. Are you aware that the Constitution of the United States does not establish a religion? It forbids its establishment of religion. Are you aware that doesn’t mention God?” he condescendingly asked of the kid.
“So the Declaration of Independence mentions God four times, but what I was going to see,” he began to respond before being incredibly interrupted again by the pathetic Democrat. Neither side could get a word in until Raskin reclaimed his time and went on a long, incorrect rant.
