Woke Pope Leo XIV stirred up yet another controversy in just thirty seconds after declaring his Catholic faith should embrace both sexual liberation and freedom of religion, signaling yet again his progressive bona fides over actual Christian beliefs. He is not a Catholic in any sense of the word, merely a hackneyed mouthpiece for contemporary leftist talking points.
For context, the first American pope born Robert Prevost, who conveniently comes from Barack Obama’s adopted hometown of Chicago, has been a tour de force when it comes to ginning up outrage. He has repeatedly bashed Trump administration immigration policies as inhumane and undignified while ignoring inhumane and undignified consequences toward American citizens as a result of the presence of illegal aliens.
And now, during the left’s self-onanistic Pride month celebrations, the pope said divisions the left has created around sexual matters should not be controversial. In essence, there was no controversy around sexual ethics for millennia as it was understood quite clearly the purpose of sex and what was or was not considered taboo. Then, the progressive left stepped in and created the controversy by subverting traditional ethics and is now reacting to the outrage such decisions manifested.
Going further, though, the pope echoed the tired list of the woke activist agenda, saying it was more important to focus on justice, equality, and freedom. On that last part, he specifically mentioned freedom of religion, which is meaningless since freedom of religion only ever comes from Christians. Muslim-majority locales practice anything but said freedom. But it’s even more asinine when the supposed head of a religion doesn’t demand his to be taken seriously. The head of the Catholic Church should at minimum be promoting Catholicism.
“I, first of all, I think it’s very important to understand that the unity or division of the church should not revolve around sexual matters. We tend to think that when the church is talking about morality, that the only issue of morality is sexual, and in reality, I believe there are much greater and more important issues, such as justice, equality, freedom of men and women, freedom of religion, that would all take priority,” he blinked and stammered his way through in a bizarre speech.

As mentioned, Pope Leo XIV is no stranger to hypocrisy and controversy. He has always battled President Trump over immigration, and got humiliated by online comments after he said American citizens and taxpayers should have to embrace their country being taken over by foreigners and pay for them while they do it. In response, people pointed out the obvious that the man pretending to care about borders and subsidizing immigrants lived behind massive walls and was the figurehead of unfathomable wealth.
“The drama of migration must serve as an appeal to the conscience of the nations of origin of the migrants, which must establish conditions for peace, justice and development. It is also an appeal to the conscience of the transit nations, which are called to protect the vulnerable and not leave them in the hands of criminal networks,” he began in a long post on X.
“It is likewise an appeal to the conscience of Europe, which cannot claim to uphold human dignity while growing accustomed to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic becoming unmarked graves, as well as that of the international community, which is called to effective and persevering cooperation,” he continued.
