“A Christian Who Hates Christianity”: Far-Left Democrat Senate Candidate James Talarico Admits His Loathing Of Traditional Christianity

Far-left Texas Democrat Senate Candidate James Talarico is said to have ‘sealed his fate’ in the upcoming November general election after comments of his with a ‘transqueer’ podcaster went viral. Talarico, who defeated the insufferable Jasmine Crocket in the Democrat primary and will faced the Trump-endorsed Ken Paxton, said he identifies as a “Christian who hates Christianity.”

For context, James Talarico is no stranger to conflating his supposed Christian background with every single leftist agenda. He has repeatedly come out in support of transgenderism and went so far as to suggest God was non-binary. He has likewise defended unlimited abortion on the grounds that the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ never condoned the practice, among other things.

And now, Talarico’s mask has been ripped right off as a poser masquerading as a religious believer after audio of him declaring himself a ‘Christian who hates Christianity” picked up massive momentum on social media and got roundly criticized by average users, influencers, and politicians alike.

The comments came during a recording with Roberto Che Espinoza, a person described by Yahoo! News as a ‘transgender Latinx activist theologian.’ That title alone pretty much sums up how the conversation was going to go. The unearthed 2021 interview revealed the woke Democrat declaring in full: “I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity.”

According to Yahoo! News, things only got worse, as he expanded on his religious beliefs. At one point, he lamented being white. He described his background as that of a “boring, cis-white man.” Going further, he stated: “My imagination is also just limited by my own background and identity, my whiteness, my masculinity, all those things limit my imagination about what’s possible. So, I have to continually press against that to try to expand the limits of what I’m dreaming of for our community. And that’s where, you know, Dr. Robyn [Espinoza], your book helps me do that and podcasts like this help me do that.”

Reacting to the ridiculous comments was Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), who made an appearance on Fox News shortly after the five-year-old comments came to light. Hawley kept being drawn to the fact that both Talarico the man and Talarico’s remarks were just plain ‘weird’ and not normal whatsoever.

“It’s so weird, this guy is just so weird, and seeing that he’s a Christian who hates Christianity, I think pretty much sums it up. I know this is a guy who believes that men ought to be playing women’s sports and men ought to be in women’s locker rooms. I guess maybe we read a different Bible,” he said at one point.

“I’m pretty sure the Bible says that male and female God created them, and he saw that it was good, so I think maybe Talarico ought to knock it off, maybe read the scripture a little bit more. Quit telling women that they should accept men in their locker rooms, quit saying that God is non-binary, which is another of his quotes. There’s not 200 genders, there’s two. There’s nothing wrong with being a woman or being a man. And I just think this guy, he’s got to be the weirdest Senate candidate out there this year for the Democrats, and that is really saying something,” he added.

Texas Representative Brandon Gill likewise weighed in on the absurd statements, succinctly pointing out everything wrong with Talarico’s own belief system, and by extension, his political platform. “So, this guy hates Christianity, meat, guns, oil, thinks white people are inherently racist, that the Bible justifies abortion, and that God is ‘non-binary,’” he wrote on X.
