President Trump Invites Democrat Haley Stevens Into Republican Party After She Denounces ‘Hateful’ Abdul El-Sayed Campaign

President Donald Trump wasted no time jumping on one of the hottest political topics at a recent rally, openly inviting Democrat Congresswoman Haley Stevens to join the Republican Party under his ‘America First’ tent, much like Tulsi Gabbard and RFK, Jr. did at the start of his second administration.

For context, the runner-up in the Democrat Senate primary had initially endorsed the victor in that contest, the Muslim socialist Abdul El-Sayed, and seemed to fall in ranks for the Democrat Party. However, in recent weeks a rift has been widening, and got to the point where Stevens herself said she was both turned off by his support of anti-American influencer Hasan Piker and turned away by his team.

Reacting to her endorsement of Mike Rogers, the Republican Senate candidate whom Trump also backed, the president discussed the late October surprise with his rally crowd. “But in very big news this morning for Michigan, Congresswoman Haley Stevens, who, if you remember, was going to be 25 points down. Everybody thought it was going to be a walk. A lot of people think she won, but he won by like a half a point. Remember that whole evening?” he began.

“They took days, days. But we’ve, you know, we just had her. It was just an incredible thing. She just went out and she endorsed Mike Rogers, and Mike Rogers is doing well. He’s apple pie. Mike Rogers is apple pie, and you know what this country needs? A little apple pie. We don’t need the, we don’t need the communists, the jihadists, the Muslim Brotherhood. We need apple pie. He is apple pie,” he continued.

“He’ll be good, and we got to get him in. I hope we get him in. I campaigned pretty hard for him. Her following is very big, you know. She she went out, and everybody said she was to lose. Remember, by 25 points, and she ended up almost winning. It took like three, four days for them to so-called tabulate the vote. They tabulated with their machines, you know. In countries where they don’t have machines, the vote is in by 9o’clock,” he went on.

“They have no problem with the machines. How about California? We think we’ll have the answer within the next three months. They have machines. Well, you’re right about that. He admits it. He said he’s a stupid person in the worst interview I’ve ever seen given by a politician. Study that interview, and the level of respect from the people of Michigan, especially the African-American and Jewish population,” he added.

“I think they’re very, very happy with what she did. She was very brave in doing it. So I don’t know Haley. I’ve never met Haley, but Haley said what few people are willing to say. I think it probably is. I’d love her to join the Republican Party. Actually, I think that could happen, maybe. But she showed great and almost unprecedented loyalty to the great people of Michigan,” he finished. Watch those comments below:

Shortly after joining Rogers at a press conference, Rep. Stevens released a short video expanding on her decision to ditch El-Sayed and choose country over party. “Hey Michigan, as you may have seen, our Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, Abdul, said that I was no longer welcome in his campaign and that I should stay away. And he’s right, and that’s why I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today,” she began.

“I don’t belong in Abdul’s campaign. I do not stand with Hassan Piker, who gets trafficked on our college campuses. A dear friend of mine earlier today was saying that education is on the ballot, and she’s absolutely right. And what our students see, what our children see, and who we are as Michiganders, is not hate, and is not what we are getting out from our Democratic nominee right now,” she said.
